Deutschlandstipendium (Germany scholarship)
The Deutschlandstipendium (Germany scholarship) has laid the foundations for a new culture of scholarships within the German higher education landscape, one that combines private and public funding: private sponsors and the public sector share this valuable investment in the education of the next generation of academics and support future specialists and leaders here in Germany. The funding focuses on high-achieving and committed students from all departments.
The Deutschlandstipendium (Germany scholarship) aims to create a three-way win-win situation:

- A win for the universities
Hochschule München has been participating in the Deutschlandstipendium
(Germany scholarship) since 2011. What began as a project in a single federal state has grown into an ambitious funding scheme covering the whole of Germany. Just under three-quarters of all higher education institutions in Germany now take part in the Deutschlandstipendium, which is awarded regardless of income. Nationwide, 90 per cent of all students have the opportunity to submit an application for funding at their higher education institution.
