CAREER Center
The CAREER Center is a centralised service facility for students at HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences. Our goal is to help future graduates kick-start their careers, improve their employment prospects and strengthen their ties with the working world.
Throughout the semester, we organise events, workshops, talks and information materials for students to attend which focus on the following:
- Key skills
- Job applications and starting a career
- Career qualifications
- Networking in practice: STUDENT meets BUSINESS events, where students come face-to-face with companies
- Year-round postings on our career, internship and jobs database www.hm.edu/jobboerse
We also offer one-on-one and group advising sessions for students. These sessions focus on writing? applications, starting a career, as well as graduate school advising for students who would wish to pursue a master's degree. Please note that our programmes are typically offered in German.

For businesses, the CAREER Center is primarily the first point of contact for personnel recruitment and promoting your company. We run the university job database www.hochschuljobboerse.de and provide advice on further recruitment opportunities. We can also put you in touch with the two large career fairs here on campus:
- HOKO-Hochschulkontaktmesse (university networking fair)
- Münchner Unternehmens-Tag, MUT (Munich Business Day)
Establishing personal and professional contact between business representatives, alumni, students, and professors is at the heart of our STUDENT meets BUSINESS events. STUDENT meets BUSINESS events are organised either in the form of presentations or field visits.
