Coming to HM

If you are an early-career researcher coming from abroad or interested in going abroad, you will find useful information on this website.

We warmly welcome all international early-career researchers who come to Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences (HM) for their doctorate, for the postdoc phase or for a temporary stay.

Going abroad and networking internationally

International exchange and international cooperation enable a high standard of quality in research and open the way for young scientists to enter an international job market. We therefore encourage our doctoral candidates to gain experience abroad as part of their research project and to develop international competences.

Our Graduate School offers all doctoral candidates individual counselling on financing and funding opportunities as well as coaching and strives to create an international environment at HM (internationalisation@home).
