International Office (IO)

The International Office at HM offers a comprehensive range of services and advisory support to all university members and departments in implementing internationalisation initiatives.

The International Office is the central contact point for:

Exchange Students: With over 200 partner universities, HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences welcomes a large number of exchange students each semester. Students from partner institutions can find detailed information on applying and studying at HM here .
HM Students Interested in Studying Abroad: We provide guidance on gaining international experience and intercultural skills for example through programmes like Erasmus+.
Internationalisation at Home: We also provide guidance to HM students who wish to gain intercultural skills without studying abroad.
Visiting Scholars and Staff: We assist our guests before and during their stay at HM, addressing all organisational and administrative questions related to their visit to Munich. More details are available here .

Summer Schools at HM: Each year from July to mid-August, we offer short-term courses in electrical and mechanical engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, and entrepreneurship. Further information can be found here .
