Re-registration & Extension of Stay

If you are studying at HM for more than one semester, you must re-enrol. Otherwise you will be automatically be taken off the university register.

Re-registration period

  • Early to late July (winter semester)
  • Mid-January to mid-February (summer semester)

Re-registration procedure

  • Transfer the semester contribution fee (for student union and semester ticket) to the HMbank account
  • If you prefer to pay via direct debiting scheme, please log in on PRIMUSS Online-Services
  • As soon as you can access PRIMUSS, you have been re-enrolled successfully

Please note that it is NOT possible to pay the semester fee in cash!

Extension of stay

  • Contact your institutional coordinator at the International Office in Munich
  • Contact the International Office at your home university
