Re-registration & Extension of Stay
Here you can find all the information you need if you are staying for more than one semester at HM.
If you are studying at HM for more than one semester, you need to re-register. Otherwise you will automatically be de-registered.
When to re-register
- Early to late July (for the winter semester)
- Mid-January to mid-February (for the summer semester)
The exact dates can be found in the Official Academic Calendar.
How to re-register
By paying the semester fee (tuition fee) for the coming semester you confirm that you want to continue studying at HM for one more semester:
Payment will be processed via PRIMUSS Online Services and the ePayServiceBayern of the Landesamt für Finanzen (LfF), the Bavarian State Office of Finance.
You can pay via credit card (Mastercard, VISA) as well as PayPal.
If these options are not sufficient and you require bank details for a transfer, please send an email to our examination office.
Please note that it is NOT possible to pay the semester fee in cash!

Please also contact the International Office at HM and the International Office at your home university.
