Welcome Service

Hochschule München provides a Welcome Service for international exchange students to ensure that your arrival in Munich and settling into life at the university go as smoothly as possible.

Full-time students ("mentors") at HM offer support, for example with

• picking you up at the airport or train station
• taking you to your student residence hall
• registering at the Residence Registration Office (KVR)
• course selection
• leisure activities

The Welcome Service is organised by the International Office. You can sign up for it in your application at HM. A few weeks after your acceptance at HM, your mentor will get in touch with you.

Please note: Business Administration students (students enrolled in department 10 - Business Administration)
Department 10 - Business Administration has its own Buddy-Service. You cannot apply for this programme online. Once you are accepted at HM, you will receive more information about the Buddy-Service Programme from your Department.
