Lothstraße campus
The modern and dynamic Lothstraße campus is the heart of HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences. Situated to the north-west of the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), the campus has nearly 11,800 students and is the largest and oldest of the university. All central administration units are based here, as are nine departments.

Arrival by public transport
As parking in the vicinity of HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences is limited, we recommend the use of public transport. You can reach the University sites from München Hauptbahnhof (central station) using the following services:
Lothstraße campus (dept. 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 09, 12, 13)
Take the tram lines 20 (Moosach Bf.), 21 (Westfriedhof) or 29 (Hochschule München) to the stop "Hochschule München (Lothstraße)".
Lothstraße campus (dept. 14)
Take the tram lines 20 (Moosach Bf.), 21 (Westfriedhof) or 22 (Hochschule München) to the stop "Hochschule München (Lothstraße)". From there, follow Dachauer Straße north on foot, turn left onto Lazarettstraße, right onto Heldstraße, left onto Pfänderstraße and then left onto Schachenmeierstraße and continue until you reach the University.
Alternatively, take the U1 (Olympia-Einkaufszentrum) to the stop "Maillingerstraße". From there, walk along Nymphenburgerstraße and turn right onto Lazarettstraße, left onto Ernst-Henle-Straße along the allotment gardens and then turn left again onto Schachenmeierstraße and continue until you reach the University.

How to get from airport to central station
At the airport, follow the guidance system to the S-Bahn platform.
Take either the S1 or the S8. Trains depart every 10 minutes. Both lines take around 45 minutes to Central Station.
Tickets (both cost around 10 €):
- Airport-City Day Ticket: Valid for the entire MVV network (S-Bahn, regional trains, subway, buses and trams) for one day until 6 am the following day.
- Single Ticket (4 Zones and more): Valid for the entire MVV network (see above), changes and trip interruptions allowed, no return or round trips allowed, maximum travel time of 4 hours.

Buses depart at:
- Terminal 2
- Terminal 1 (Modul A)
- München Airport Center (MAC) and Terminal 1 (Modul D).
Buses depart every 20 minutes. Travel time to Central Station: 45 to 60 minutes.
Cost:
One-way tickets cost around 10 €, return tickets around 17 €.
Pay the bus driver with cash.
At the airport, follow the guidance system.
Taxis depart at:
- Terminal 1 (Level E04 directly in front of the modules A-E)
- Terminal 2 (north of Level E03 and E04)
- München Airport Center (north of Level E03).
Travel time: ca. 30-45 min (up to one hour and more if there is traffic)
