Welcome to our master programme Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation!
Our unique approach
The master's programme Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation is unique of its kind in various ways:
- We offer a master program for students with different backgrounds from all over
the world. - You work on your project for two semesters to build your start-up or create an innovative idea with a corporate partner.
- Through our learning-by-doing approach you will instantly use your knowledge in your projects.
- We are focusing our lecture on the important topics of our future, including entrepreneurship, digital technologies and business models.
- Choose your elective courses from seven different faculties (faculty 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 14).
There are no tuition fees for the master programme. All students, however, pay a Student Union fee (around 85€). Starting from the winter semester 23/24, the semester ticket will be replaced with the 29 euro ticket.

All students of the master's programme take compulsory and elective courses. The elective courses (with a minimum amount of 5 ECTS credit points) will be selected by you at the beginning of the second and third semester.
Your programme managers will assist you with the process of selecting appropriate elective courses.
You can choose course from seven different faculties of the HM, including faculty 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 14. An overview of the faculties and their topics you can find here.

You will find information about the individual grading assignments in the "curriculum overview" document available under Downloads.
Assignments vary from oral exams, presentations to written exams and project reports.
Grades will be announced via Primuss.
Even though German proficiency is not a qualification requirement for access to the study programme, we highly recommend learning German before the start of the programme or during the programme at the latest.
It will help you with daily life issues, and with organizational requirements at university in particular.
