Consul General of India visits HM Hochschule München

HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences recognizes the significant potential for expanding collaboration with universities in India. During a meeting with the new Indian Consul General, Shri Shatrughna Sinha, HM President Martin Leitner emphasized the importance of intensifying cooperation.

HM plans to establish partnerships with Indian universities to promote the exchange of students and lecturers and to initiate joint research activities. The recruitment of full-time students from India was also a topic of discussion. Shatrughna Sinha expressed his positive impression, stating, “I am very impressed by the commitment of Munich University of Applied Sciences to industry. The increasing number of Indian students at the university presents a valuable opportunity that we will leverage to strengthen Indo-German scientific and technological partnerships.”

Rising Enrolment of Indian Students

Looking ahead, HM plans to assist the Indian Consulate General in advising potential applicants. The number of applications from Indian students has been steadily increasing, with 61 currently enrolled at HM. Both parties look forward to a fruitful and collaborative partnership.
