HM Staff Council
Representing the interests of our staff
The Staff Council represents the interests of staff (staff, civil servants and trainees) at a public administration department. The Staff Council’s work is governed by the Bavarian Staff Representation Act (BayPVG).
In accordance with Section 4 of the Bavarian Staff Representation Act (BayPVG), the Staff Council represents the interests of non-academic and academic staff, Lehrkräfte für besondere Aufgaben (specialised instructors), and Student Assistants at the HM. However, the involvement of the Staff Council in personnel matters concerning academic staff and Lehrkräfte für besondere Aufgaben (specialised instructors) is restricted under Section 78(1)(f) of the Bavarian Staff Representation Act (BayPVG).
The Staff Council can only help with any questions or issues relating to your working environment if it is made aware of them. If you require assistance or information, you are entitled, as a staff member, to contact us at any time. Naturally, Staff Council members are bound by a duty of absolute confidentiality (Section 10 of the Bavarian Staff Council Act). However, the Staff Council cannot and is not permitted to provide legal advice.
As HM staff, you can find further information on current issues and the work of the Staff Council on the intranet.
