Nomi Fritsch (Department 05) has been awarded the Oskar von Miller Award in the bachelor's degree category

For the 11th time, a touch of Hollywood is coming to HM for one evening: the Oskar-von-Miller Celebration at the Roter Würfel transforms the university into a glittering gala with a festive awards ceremony. Real ‘Oscars’ are also awarded here for outstanding achievements by members of the university in the categories of teaching, research, degree programmes, doctorate and practice partners.

This year’s theme: ‘Cinematic Dream Pairs’.
The theme of this year’s ceremony centred on ‘cinematic dream pairs’. From ‘Lady and the Tramp’ to ‘Daffy and Bugs’ – well-known film duos provided the backdrop to the programme and ensured entertaining and, at times, nostalgic moments during the awards ceremony. The evening was hosted by the well-known Oskar-von-Miller presenting team: Christina Kaufmann, Head of Public Relations Office, and Dr. Sven Winterhalder, Head of Strategic Advancement Office. Musical accompaniment for the evening was provided by Bastian Pusch and Andreas Speckmann, known as ‘Duo Notenlos’. They performed famous film scores and created a cinematic atmosphere in the hall.
