Field trip to Infineon

A morning full of new experiences

As part of the BayernMentoring programme, our female student mentees visited the Infineon campus and were given a wide-ranging insight into the world of modern technology.
The morning began with an introduction to Infineon’s wide range of products and applications. During this session, the participants learnt about the key role that Infineon’s technologies play in areas such as smart homes, e-mobility, autonomous driving and numerous other fields of the future.

Networking with experienced women in the STEM sector

A particular highlight was the opportunity to speak personally with two experienced women from the STEM sector. Over coffee and pretzels, the colleagues outlined their career paths and shared their experiences at Infineon. Afterwards, the students had the chance to ask questions on both technical matters and career paths, as well as the application and recruitment processes. The excursion leader from the HR department was also on hand to answer questions.
Armed with a goodie bag and a wealth of new experiences, an inspiring morning came to an end, one that had opened up exciting prospects for our own career paths.
