20 years of BayernMentoring – 20 years of empowering women in STEM

In June 2026, the event was celebrated with inspiring insights into mentoring, lively discussions and a strong Bavaria-wide network for female students in STEM subjects.

Mentors, mentees and programme coordinators from across Bavaria came together to share experiences and discuss the future of mentoring in the STEM sector.

As part of Science4Fem, the anniversary event offered valuable insights, inspiring discussions and new perspectives.

Particular highlights included the panel discussion ‘Unspoken!’ and the presentation of the BayernMentoring Award to committed participants.
