Press invitation: Launch event for the Civil Protection Network (ZSN), 22 September 2026, 1 pm to 6 pm (Press Release 30/26)

The Civil Protection Network (ZSN) is creating a new platform in Munich for the exchange of ideas and the joint development of concrete solutions for civil protection and disaster management. The ZSN was established through a collaboration between the HM Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, the Munich Fire Brigade and VDE Bavaria.

The launch event will bring together representatives from public authorities, associations, the business sector, academia and other relevant fields to discuss the challenges facing civil protection and disaster management and to develop joint solutions. Keynote speeches drawing on practical experience in the field, corporate security and fire service management will also provide insights into specific requirements.
