BayernMentoring at the HM: The new round starts in the winter semester – submit your application now!

Technology, computer science, natural sciences, engineering – there is hardly any other field in which women are as under-represented as in the STEM subjects.

That is why dialogue, networking and empowerment are essential!

The BayernMentoring programme is designed to support female students on their journey.

Specifically, Hochschule München offers two programme streams:

the ‘BayernMentoring “Junior”’ scheme pairs first-year female students with an experienced female fellow student from the first semester onwards, supporting them throughout the first two semesters.

The BayernMentoring ‘Professional’ programme pairs female students from the third semester onwards with a female engineer or specialist with professional experience as a mentor for one year (e.g. to provide guidance on internships, course projects and starting a career).

Both programmes are open to female students from Departments 02 to 09 as well as MUC.DAI. The programme is complemented by free seminars, workshops and networking events with participants from across Bavaria, amongst others.
