Name: Matthias Reihle

Professor of: Materials Engineering of Metals, including Materials Testing and Non-Cutting Manufacturing

I’m from Ravensburg, but I’ve been living in Munich for over 20 years.

Previously, I worked as anengineer at BMW in various departments, such as quality management for castings and the planning of high-voltage battery assembly – so nothing works without materials and the associated manufacturing processes!

Absolutely incredible – just think, for example, of the creation of complex components from liquid metal. I’m fascinated by this and would like to share my enthusiasm for it.
