I’m from near Stuttgart.

Prior to that, I worked at the Research Institute for Precious Metals and Metal Chemistry (fem) in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Metals are key materials of our time.

Used for thousands of years, they still offer us fascinating properties and new opportunities today – for example, through modern processes such as 3D printing. I am passionate about developing new alloys and researching their structure and function. I would like to share this knowledge and my passion for materials with students and develop it further together with them.

The interdisciplinary focus, the strong practical orientation and the collegial working atmosphere at the HM provide me with the ideal environment for combining Teaching and Applied Research.

My highlight of the year

My first day at HM and my very first lecture. After all that intensive preparation, I was particularly looking forward to this moment.
