Photographic images – images are very powerful. They have the power to change the world. Photography, however, is a very young medium that is constantly evolving. That is why, in my view, we are still a long way from truly understanding it. The narratives they convey are context-dependent, multi-layered and fragile. It is important to me to help those who create images to recognise these narratives and use them thoughtfully.
