About us – the HM Graduate School
Area of responsibility
The Graduate School is responsible for supporting individuals, services and structures, from the initial stage of interest in a PhD through to preparation for a professorship at a university of applied sciences. The focus of our work is on the PhD phase. Of particular importance here is the supervision and further development of the eight inter-university doctoral centres, four of which are coordinated by the HM Graduate School.
Programmes offered by the Graduate School
The Graduate School’s work centres on the training programme, advising doctoral candidates and supervisors, and various funding schemes. We also oversee initiatives in the areas of women’s advancement, internationalisation and postdoctoral research.
Sustainability
The Graduate School urges grant holders to make their business travel as climate-friendly as possible and to avoid short-haul flights. We also endeavour to provide climate-friendly catering at our own events.
