Living with a child or children

Students who are pregnant or have a child to care for and are looking for accommodation can contact the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern. They will be given priority when allocated a place in one of the halls of residence.

Accommodation advice for students with children
Students with children have the option of submitting a so-called ‘hardship application’ in order to be given priority when moving into a couple’s flat or family flat provided by the Studierendenwerk. The hardship application should consist of an informal letter (briefly outlining the situation). The enrolment certificate and the child’s birth certificate must also be enclosed.
