Flexible childcare

Childcare services tailored to students’ individual needs are essential for helping students balance their studies with family life and for improving academic success among parents. This also includes childcare in exceptional circumstances and emergencies.

For this reason, Hochschule München, in cooperation with pme Familienservice GmbH, provides its students with free, flexible childcare at the ‘Münchener Kindl’ backup facility at Burgstraße 6, near Marienplatz.

Students at the University of Applied Sciences München can make use of this flexible childcare facility when regular childcare arrangements fail or in times of need. As the university has a limited number of hours available in total, childcare should primarily be used in emergencies and is therefore also limited per student. The Family Office is happy to provide further information.

Important note:
To use the “Münchner Kindl” backup facility, students with children must present a valid ID card and a current enrolment certificate. Students must register their child for childcare by 6 pm the day before by calling 089-24231600.
