The BEC Periodic Tables

Since 2007, the General Chemistry Laboratories have been publishing their own Periodic Table of the Elements, tailored to the needs of their students. This Periodic Table is continuously updated and thus always kept in line with the latest scientific findings.

The current edition (5th edition) is currently available in three versions, which differ slightly in content. Version 1 is issued to students who are studying chemistry as a minor subject (e.g. Physical Engineering and Bioengineering).

Option 2 is intended for students specialising in chemistry (Chemical Engineering degree programme).

Version 3 is aimed at students and secondary school pupils who are interested in chemistry and are looking for a simplified, clearly laid-out periodic table.

Students are given a laminated copy, suitable for use in the chemistry laboratory, at the start of their studies during one of the first chemistry lectures.
