bauwerK!
Teaching and learning with and about AI
The HM is transforming into an AI-competent university.
bauwerK! brings together the collective effort and expertise of faculty, students, and administration to integrate artificial intelligence in a responsible, effective and sustainable fashion across all areas of the Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM). The project name bauwerK! (pronounced ‘bauwerK KI’) represents the cultural shift in teaching, learning, assessment, and administration at the HM on its path towards becoming an AI-competent institution. The results of the project will also be made accessible to other universities and interested parties.
Why bauwerK!?
Generative AI is transforming knowledge work – and, with it, the way we study, teach, and work in administration. While AI tools are already widely used at the HM, there is a lack of guidance, clear rules and targeted learning opportunities. bauwerK! bridges these gaps and establishes competent, reflective use of AI as the standard.
