Teaching and learning with and about AI
HM is becoming an AI-competent university.
bauwerK! brings together expertise from teaching, studies, administration and the student body to embed artificial intelligence responsibly, effectively and sustainably across all areas of Munich University of Applied Sciences. The project name bauwerK! (pronounced ‘bauwerK KI’) stands for a cultural shift in Teaching, Learning, Assessment and Administration at Hochschule München towards becoming an AI-competent institution. The results of the project will also be made available to other universities and interested parties.
Why bauwerK!?
Generative AI is transforming knowledge work – and with it, studies, teaching and administration. Many at the HM are already using AI tools, yet there is a lack of guidance, clear rules and tailored learning opportunities. bauwerK! bridges these gaps and makes the competent, reflective use of AI the norm.
