The E-Learning Center is actively involved in various inter-university networks with a view to further developing and strengthening the use of digital learning and teaching methods.
Special Interest Group (SIG) ePortfolio
The ELC plays an active role in the ePortfolio Special Interest Group (SIG) , including as one of its spokespersons. The ePortfolio SIG is a network comprising around 120 members from German universities, as well as other individuals from the DACH region. The aim of the network is to provide mutual support in the use of ePortfolios as a method for learning, reflection and assessment.
Moodle in Higher Education Association
Hochschule München is a founding member of the association ‘Moodle an Hochschulen e.V.’, which was established in June 2021 and is based in Berlin, with the aim of acting as a point of contact and advocate for Moodle at universities in German-speaking countries. The association currently represents around 70 member universities with over 1,100,000 students and promotes the use of Moodle at universities. The ELC represents HM on the advisory board and actively participates in various working groups.
