Student Assistants in (Online-)Teaching
Strengthen future skills
Improving (Online-)Teaching with students
Through the funding program, „Studentische Projekte für Future Skills“ the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education is offering funding for a student assistant for up to 8 hours per week during the 2026/27 winter semester. All professors at HM are eligible to apply. Approximately 5 projects can be funded.
The funding supports collaboration between professors and student projects that advance topics such as sustainability, digitalization, innovation, social responsibility, or higher education development.
The goal is to give students the opportunity to actively contribute their ideas to courses and, in doing so, develop important future skills such as sustainability literacy, self-organization, participatory skills, media literacy, and more.
What support do we offer?
The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education will handle the hiring process and cover the costs for the student teaching assistants. Funding will initially be provided through the end of 2026 for up to 8 hours per week. Subject to available funding, the funding may be extended to cover the entire lecture period of the winter semester 2026/27. Continued employment or the rehire of students already employed is possible.
