Student Assistants in online teaching
Improving online teaching with student support
The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (IL) supports lecturers in delivering online teaching by providing Student Assistants (SHKs) who help with the use of technical tools such as Moodle, Zoom and Mahara.
What support does IL offer?
Students are placed with interested lecturers as student teaching assistants (SHKs) via the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education. The recruitment process and the costs associated with the SHKs are covered by the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education. Funding is provided on a semesterly basis for a period of 5 months, amounting to 6 hours per week. It is also possible to extend the employment of, or re-employ, students who are already staff. A separate application is required for each funding round. Students can find information on remuneration on the Human Resources Department’s page: “How are you paid?”
