Future Skills Lab: Skills for the AI world
Workshop for students and lecturers
On 2 June 2025, the NEO.Hub of the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education organised the participation format ‘Future Skills Lab – Skills for the AI World’. The event was aimed at students and lecturers at HM.
Over a series of sessions, the participants explored the question of what skills are required for the effective and responsible use of AI, and how these AI skills can be taught and developed through teaching and learning methods. In doing so, the participants developed specific ideas for innovative teaching and learning methods to be implemented at the HM in the future.
An important aspect of the format was working as equals. Students and lecturers discussed and collaborated on innovative and forward-looking higher education teaching.
The results of the future workshop were presented to the Vice-President for Innovation and Quality in Education and will be incorporated into the development of strategic measures aimed at further developing teaching and learning formats.
