Students as NextGen Visionaries: Shaping the Future of Assessment

Planning Unit for Students

On 19 October 2023, the ii.oo project and the NEO.Hub for the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education organised a planning workshop on the topic of ‘Assessment of the Future’ for students at the HM.

Over the course of four consecutive sessions, participants discussed recommendations on various aspects of assessment, such as generative AI in Teaching and student-centred learning. These sessions were based on presentations by experts, who offered fascinating insights into the assessment culture at Hochschule München. Working in small groups, the participants then jointly developed recommendations aimed at helping to shape the future of assessment at Munich University of Applied Sciences. Finally, these recommendations were presented to the Vice-President for Innovation and Quality in Education, Prof. Dr Klaus Kreulich.

Student feedback

The findings of the planning group were summarised in the student report and presented to the Vice-President for Innovation and Quality in Education and to the lecturers.
