Obtaining the certificate of vocational and workplace teaching qualifications in accordance with the Trainers’ Aptitude Ordinance (AEVO).

For all students at Hochschule München, ideally those who have completed a practical semester or vocational training.

Anyone wishing to become a trainer must, in addition to personal and professional aptitude, possess pedagogical, legal, organisational, psychological and methodological knowledge and skills. The trainer’s examination is the only nationally recognised and standardised qualification for demonstrating knowledge of vocational and workplace pedagogy.

Among other things, participants are taught about the legal framework governing apprenticeships. They are given advice on organising the apprenticeship, drawing up a training plan, as well as on assessment, exam preparation and the format of certificates.

(On the face-to-face days, the facilitators will divide the group into two groups, so that each participant only needs to attend one of the two face-to-face days.)

You should attend at least 80 per cent of the course to be eligible for the examination.

It is payable immediately upon registration and must be transferred to the Career Center.

We recommend: *‘Collection of Legal Texts for Trainers and the Trainer Aptitude Test’* published by Feldhaus-Verlag – compiled by Wolfram Küper. Unlike the Beck collection, this one really does contain only the relevant texts. However, this is merely a suggestion.

The examination is offered several times a year by the IHK and consists of a total of two days (written and practical sections).
Please note that the practical examination may take place up to three weeks after the written examination. The deadline for registration with the IHK is approximately two months before the start of the written examination.

Important: All participants must register for the exam with the IHK themselves! Places are limited for each exam date.

If you cancel after this date, the Career Center will not refund the participation fee. Please also note the IHK’s cancellation deadlines.
