University Certificate in Entrepreneurial Thinking and Action (UDH)
The ‘Entrepreneurial Thinking and Action’ certificate is intended for students on all consecutive degree programmes at Hochschule München who wish to strengthen their skills in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The certificate comprises three compulsory modules (Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship (MOOC), Practical Work & Final Report) and one compulsory elective module (see module catalogue).

Module 1: Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship
- Compulsory module, MOOC, 2 ECTS

Module 2: Advanced study
- Compulsory elective module, academic credit transfer for a module from the student’s own degree programme, 5 ECTS
- Did you take part in a Real Project (5 ECTS) or a comparable entrepreneurship module (see module catalogue below) whilst studying?
- All you need to do is enclose proof of your successful completion of the course (e.g. an overview of marks) when applying for the certificate.
- List of all eligible modules from the current and previous semesters, as at 30 March 2026.

Module 3: Practical work
- Compulsory module, 5 ECTS
- Module description: Course description
- This part of the certificate can be completed by undertaking an internship or a working student placement at a start-up or company in the field of innovation/intrapreneurship, totalling at least 150 hours.

Module 4: Final Report
- Compulsory module, 3 ECTS
- Module description: Course description
- Once you have completed all the other modules, write a final reflective report (see the module description for details) on what you have learnt in the various modules regarding entrepreneurial thinking and action, and how you have applied – and will apply in future – the various skills. Once you have successfully completed all the modules, you can apply for your university certificate here by email , specifying the modules you have successfully completed.
FAQ
None. The programme is open to all students at Hochschule München (with the exception of advanced programmes).
None. You can start the programme at any time whilst studying, in any semester. Courses are offered every semester.
Nothing. The university certificate can be obtained in as little as two semesters by carefully selecting courses, or it can be planned to be taken over several semesters alongside your degree programme.
No separate registration or enrolment is required to obtain the university certificate. Simply register as usual at the start of the semester for your chosen modules and for the examination (PRIMUSS).
