98b Dachauer Straße, on the mezzanine floor
The Room of Silence is located at Dachauer Straße 98b, on the mezzanine floor in room E 009, and is open to all members of Hochschule München. It offers students, staff and lecturers a place to retreat from stressful situations and provides an opportunity to find a moment’s peace, consciously switch off, relax and recharge their batteries.
The room is free of religious symbols and practices, and invites everyone to take some personal time out in a friendly and peaceful atmosphere.
For individuals, the room is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Outside these hours, group sessions such as meditation or relaxation exercises are offered. Please check the events calendar for dates.
The Room of Silence is a project run by the Healthy University initiative, the Student Affairs Department, the Student Parliament and the University Community at Hochschule München. The project is supported by the university management and Department 04, which is also providing the space.
