Language workshops
German technical terminology: ‘Economics’ and ‘Starting a career’
Short workshop, funded by project grants from the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service)
The workshops are aimed at international degree-seeking students and exchange students at Hochschule München who, despite having a very good command of German (B2 or above), wish to improve their knowledge of technical terminology.
In the summer semester of 2026, the courses “German for Business” and “German for Career Start” will be offered
Content: Grammatical structures (passive voice, participles), vocabulary from the subject area, presentations, discussions, practical exercises.
Small groups – participants get plenty of opportunities to speak and practise, and can discuss any questions directly with the tutor.
A knowledge of German at level B2 or above is required.
- German for Business – 4 x 90-minute sessions, online via Zoom

Mondays, from 09:30 to 11:00
German Technical Language: Career Start – 4 sessions of 90 minutes via Zoom, starting 20 April 2026,
Mondays from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm- No entry fee, but registration is required
- Small groups of participants, which allows them to ask their own questions and practise in a practically-oriented setting.
Your data is used to allocate you to the correct courses and to enable the lecturer to prepare. Your email address is also used to send you information in the event of any changes to the course schedule. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(e) and (2) of the GDPR in conjunction with Article 4(1) of the Bavarian Data Protection Act (BayDSG) and Article 60(1) of the Bavarian Higher Education Act (BayHSchG).
