Seminars for working professionals
Short seminars, lasting one or more days, offer you the opportunity to gain specific further qualifications without having to undergo enrolment.
Discover selected subject areas through short seminars at Hochschule München. These application-oriented events enable you to expand your personal portfolio and further your knowledge in various fields. Under the guidance of the lecturers, you will explore individual elements from the university’s range of courses. Depending on the subject area, no prior knowledge is required, or specific prior knowledge may be necessary.
Introductory Course in Social Psychiatry
In partnership with the Anthojo Academy
The supplementary qualification in social psychiatry prepares students for the professional demands involved in supporting people with mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders. All lecturers are experienced practitioners with many years of experience in the field, ranging from outpatient care to supported housing, and they pass on both their knowledge and their valuable experience.
The aim of this additional qualification is to enable participants to interact with people with mental health conditions in various life situations in a professional, understanding and supportive manner.

- Communication (basics, conversation techniques, …)
- Legal basis (Guardianship Law, SGB, …)
- Care approaches in social psychiatry
- Clinical conditions (psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, …)
- Crises and Solutions (Definition, Crisis Intervention, …)
Scope: 7 modules, totalling 21 days of face-to-face teaching
Assessment of learning outcomes: Each module concludes with an assessment of the skills acquired.
Certification: A certificate of attendance will be issued upon successful completion of individual modules. Upon successful completion of all modules, the Anthojo Academy and Hochschule München will award a certificate indicating the ‘Additional Qualification in Social Psychiatry’, which covers the content of the continuing professional development programme.

- Module 5: Clinical Pictures – 11–12 March 2027 – Venue: Anthojo Head Office, Raubling
- Module 6: Organisation – 22–23 April 2027 – Venue: Hochschule München
- Modules 7: Crises and Solutions – 13–15 May 2027 – Venue: Anthojo Head Office, Raubling

Professionals who have completed vocational training recognised in the field of social psychiatry (e.g. social education workers, therapeutic care workers, registered nurses, teachers, psychologists, etc.)
