Hightech Agenda Bayern
Investment programme
The Hightech Agenda Bayern – HTA for short – is an investment programme run by the Free State of Bavaria. It supports all state universities in Bavaria by providing additional student places, posts for professors, posts for academic and academic support Human Resources, and funding for infrastructure. Additional budgetary funds are also earmarked for the period from 2019 to 2023. The programme was further expanded with the High-Tech Agenda Plus in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Research, Teaching and Knowledge Transfers
Munich University of Applied Sciences uses HTA funding to support research and innovation in education and transfers, with a particular focus on entrepreneurship. The key priorities for research and development at HM in all three areas are digitalisation, artificial intelligence and a Transformation of society based on sustainability. The new initiatives have an impact across all areas of HM and bring together perspectives from different disciplines.
