Executive Board
The Executive Board manages Hochschule München and is responsible for the management and development of the university. It comprises the President, three Vice-Presidents and the Chancellor.
Under the Bavarian Higher Education Act, the Executive Board is tasked with promoting and developing the sciences through research, teaching, studies and continuing education within a free, democratic and social constitutional state.
Election / Term of office
The President is elected by the University Council and appointed by the State Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and the Arts. The Vice-Presidents are elected by the University Council on the recommendation of the President. The term of office for the elected members of the Executive Board is six years. The Chancellor is a full-time member of the University Executive Board.
