Laboratory for Organic Synthesis and Qualitative Analysis
Chemistry Lab Course in Qualitative Analysis
Students will perform typical cation and anion detection reactions using the provided substance mixtures.
This training aims to impart essential skills in qualitative analysis, proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment, and a fundamental understanding of the properties and reactions of elements and ions.
Programme:

- Day 2: Detection of the cations in the (NH₄)₂CO₃ group
- Day 3: Detection of cations in the ammonium sulphide group (iron group)
- Day 4: Detection of cations in the ammonium sulphide group (iron and zinc group)
- Day 5: Detection of cations in the HCl and H₂S groups
- Day 6: Performance of a comprehensive cation analysis
