2017: Future Energy
Presentation of the final results from Future Energy
In the summer semester of 2017, 49 students from nine different departments were involved in partnerships with seven practice partners. They were asked to develop visionary solutions on the theme of FUTURE ENERGY and were given the opportunity to help shape the future of their region and take responsibility for their local area.
The partners in this year’s project were the City of Munich, E.ON Energie Deutschland GmbH, the Munich Transport Authority (MVG), Polarstern GmbH, the Max-Aicher Group, the Energiewende Oberland Community Foundation and the Initiative Wasserstoff-Region Landshut e.V..
The project got underway on 23 March 2017 with a joint kick-off event. The first meeting between the Industry Partners and the student teams took place on 30 March 2017. On Thursday, 29 June 2017, the project results were presented at a public closing event at Hochschule München.
In October 2017, the poster exhibition returned to the PlanTreff in Munich, and in November, interested members of the public in Munich were able to view the project ideas as part of the Munich Science Days.
