Plant-Based Universities Munich (PBU)
Plant-Based Universities Munich (PBU) is a student-led campaign for a sustainable, plant-based food system in Munich’s university canteens. PBU is represented at all of Munich’s universities and advocates for sustainable, climate-friendly and equitable food options. At regular meetings, the group plans initiatives, events and campaigns to raise awareness and bring about concrete changes in university catering.
EatYourCampus (EYC)
EatYourCampus is the first urban gardening project at Hochschule München: students build, plant and maintain raised beds to create a greener campus.
Guided by the Sustainable Development Goals, we promote climate action, community and learning – by students, for students.

The Referat für Nachhaltige Entwicklung (a student-led department for sustainable development) at Hochschule München was set up by the student representation (StuVe). Here, students are working to ensure that sustainability becomes second nature in all areas of the university (teaching, organisation, research, operations and administration). We aim to raise awareness amongst everyone involved in shaping Hochschule München, and to motivate and inspire them to teach and practise sustainability themselves.
