Information Technology Services (Zentrale IT)
We are the IT service provider for Hochschule München. In collaboration with the IT coordinators in the departments, we support studies, teaching, research and administration.
Overview of the key services
- Accounts and access (user accounts, computer rooms, HM card/student card, etc.)
- Email and communication (Zoom, Matrix, HM App, Exchange, Outlook, etc.)
- Software and applications (software procurement, Zotero/Citavi, Microsoft 365 apps, Confluence/BayernCollab, etc.)
- Network access and the internet (VPN/EduVPN, BayernWLAN, eduroam/easyroam, etc.)
- Data storage and data exchange (LRZ Sync+Share, Gigamove, GitLab, etc.)
The IT officers in your department or organisational unit are the points of contact for a wide range of IT matters; in addition, the IT Helpdesk is available to assist you.
