Award for outstanding commitment as an Practice Partner of HM

Oskar von Miller was a pioneer and advocate of a well-rounded and practice-oriented academic education. The Oskar-von-Miller Polytechnic, the largest predecessor institution of Hochschule München, is named after him.

Once a year, Hochschule München honours outstanding achievements at a ceremony named after Oskar von Miller. Recipients are awarded the so-called ‘Oskars’ in the categories of Outstanding Graduation Theses, Outstanding Doctorates, Teaching, Research and Collaboration with External Partners.

The Practice Partner Oskar is awarded annually to recognise outstanding collaboration with an external partner from the worlds of business, society or public administration.
