COIL and its partner university in Kanagawa: We are trialling a business roll-out in Japan
Motivation
It is not just since we began re-evaluating our economic relations with partners around the world that Japan has once again come more into the focus of our geostrategic interest. A student project involving partners in Japan was intended to help overcome reservations and a sense of unfamiliarity, and to demonstrate in very practical terms: what are the legal implications of expanding our new business into Japan? And, as lecturers, how can we bring this subject to life in a way that leaves a lasting impression?
Effect
“I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to take part in the study trip to Japan organised in collaboration with Kanagawa University. It was a unique experience that combined academic learning, cultural exchange and valuable international networking, whilst also allowing us to explore and gain a better understanding of Japan’s culture and society at first hand.”
