Forschungs- & Innovationslabor Digitale Lehre (FIDL) (research and innovation lab for digital education)

The FIDL is an organisation serving all Bavarian Universities of Applied Sciences. It promotes the effective use of educational technologies, media technology and teaching methods in higher education. The FIDL also fosters collaboration between universities and makes research and development findings available.

Kompetenzentrum Digitales Prüfen (KDP, Competence Centre Digital Examinationital Testing)

The KDP designs, develops and operates innovative systems for the legally compliant delivery of competence- and application-oriented digital examinations. The KDP’s areas of activity include providing technical and organisational consultancy in connection with the introduction of examination systems.

Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern (vhb)

Through the vhb, the Free State of Bavaria aims to improve teaching and learning conditions, particularly for the growing number of students who require flexibility in terms of location and timings. To this end, the vhb promotes and supports the development of digital teaching modules and advocates for knowledge-sharing and cross-university use.

Bayerisches Zentrum für Innovative Lehre BayZiel (Bavarian centre for innovative teaching)

BayZiel is a joint initiative of Bavaria’s state Universities of Applied Sciences and technical universities. Its remit includes the professional development of lecturers, particularly in the field of digital teaching; applied teaching and learning research, including assessment practices; and the further development of structures for study formats, academic continuing education and entrepreneurship in teaching.
