Internationalisierung 2.0
The "Internationalisierung 2.0” funding scheme is a project for Bavarian higher education institutions, funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts (StMWK), which provides support for the development and implementation of individual, tailor-made strategies in the areas of digitalisation and internationalisation.
The HM’s E-Learning Center took part in the project with its ‘Digital International Teaching’ package of measures.
Objective: To establish and expand internationalisation in teaching with the support of innovative methods and digital tools.
Implementation:
- Research into innovative, digital teaching and learning scenarios and the provision of information for lecturers.
- Updating and further developing the HM Moodle learning platform for examinations and international collaboration.
- Coordination and development of international digital study programmes and the programmes offered by Internationalisierung@home.
- Design and piloting of digital examinations that can be taken from any location.

In this course, any interested lecturers can find out more about ‘International Virtual Collaboration’, also known as ‘Class-to-Class Virtual Exchange’ or ‘Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)’.
