Will drones soon be delivering our food?

For drones to be able to deliver food to our homes in the future, we need wind forecasts. Artificial intelligence can predict changes in wind direction and speed, and use this information to calculate the best flight path. This ensures that the food reaches its destination safely by drone.

HM doctoral candidate Maximilian Dauner is conducting research on this topic within the project group on Low-Impact Inner-City Air Transport Technology (EILT).
