Hochschule München needs your experience and knowledge as alumni. As alumni, you can help ensure that the standard of teaching at HM remains high. With your support, we will continue to ensure that Human Resources professionals are particularly keen to recruit HM graduates. Provide guidance to prospective students and students. Get involved in events organised by Hochschule München and play an active part in the university!

It is not us, but YOU who are best placed to answer these and similar questions. Hochschule München regularly organises events at which we draw on your wealth of experience.

Bavaria Mentoring
Would you prefer to provide in-depth support to a single person over a longer period of time? If you are a woman, have studied a STEM subject and are now working in this field, then sign up for BayernMentoring “Professional ”. BayernMentoring “Professional” offers you a valuable opportunity to support a female student as she makes the transition from studies to the world of work, and to provide guidance on various topics such as internships, academic projects and career choices.
Mentoring Programs of the Department of Tourism
The 12-month programme aims to support ambitious students in their personal and professional development. The aim is to give them an insight into the practical side of the profession whilst they are still studying. To this end, selected students in their fifth and sixth semesters will be mentored for one year by an experienced mentor and supported in their career planning. You can find more information here

Deutschlandstipendium (Germany scholarship)
Would you or your employer like to support education? The Deutschlandstipendium (Germany scholarship) is offered to enable particularly talented and committed students to study at Hochschule München. For every amount you contribute towards a scholarship, the federal government will match it. The Deutschlandstipendium makes educational success possible!
Training staff members
Is your company interested in training and developing highly qualified young talent at an early stage? Hochschule München sees itself as a university actively involved in continuing education. We help to ensure that professional and personal (further) training is possible at every stage of life.
Take advantage of HM’s continuing professional development programmes for your staff members, such as extra-occupational bachelor’s and master’s degrees. This will ensure you have suitable staff members who are tailored to your company’s specific needs.
Hochschule München offers a wide range of study options, including Verbundstudium (academic study combined with vocational training) and Studien mit vertiefter Praxis (academic studies with intensive in-company training). Internships in English for international exchange students!
We are constantly looking for internships and part-time student roles that can be carried out in English for our exchange students from all over the world. If you are interested in posting a job advert, please contact the university job board.
Looking for a place to live
Would you like to get involved at an international level? Did you spend time abroad during your studies and miss the contact with international students and lecturers? The International Office at Hochschule München is constantly looking for furnished accommodation for international visiting lecturers, visiting researchers and international exchange students. Every semester, Hochschule München welcomes over 100 exchange students from all over the world. However, the Munich Student Union only provides accommodation in halls of residence for some of these exchange students. All other exchange students have to rely on the private housing market in Munich.
Take advantage of Hochschule München’s international network and let out a room. Exchange students’ periods of stay are usually:
Winter semester: approximately September – January
Summer semester: approximately late February – late July
