Science Management Course
On the "Science Management Course", you will spend a year deepening your knowledge in the areas of Human Resources law, higher education law, financial law and budgetary law.
Training for specialist staff and managers
The Science Management course offers in-depth and practically-oriented training to enable participants to operate successfully within the dynamic environment of research and teaching. The course content is aimed at academic staff members, doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers and academic support staff in roles such as programme officers, team leaders and heads of department.

Learning objective: Participants will understand the fundamentals and tools of strategy development and implementation (= strategic management), with a particular focus on scientific organisations, and will be able to apply them.

Learning objectives:
- identify a specific problem or area for improvement within your own working environment,
- apply knowledge and methods specific to science management,
- work together to develop a concept/solution/analysis,
- document your findings in a report and
- present these at the closing event (e.g. a pitch).
