FEMpowerment at the HM
Female Empowerment – A series of workshops for women* at HM
"Surely we’ve all had equal rights for ages now," some might think – women* are now allowed to vote, go out to work without their husband’s consent, study STEM subjects and hold leadership positions.
However, it is evident in many areas that we still do not enjoy full equality. This is evident, amongst other things, in pay gaps, the division of care work, career progression opportunities, political representation and gender stereotypes.
So perhaps it does make sense, after all, to address the challenges women* face in life.
It’s usually much more effective when done in a group and with professional guidance. That’s why we’ve put together another FEMpowerment workshop series this year.
Whether you are a student, a research assistant, a research support staff member, a lecturer or a Professor – this series of events is open to all women* at HM.
Sign up for the events today – places are limited.
Strong together, empowered together!
Dates for 2026 will be available on this page shortly
