Convention of Mid-Level Academic Staff
Hochschule München was one of the first Bavarian Universities of Applied Sciences to establish a council representing the interests of mid-level academic staff members, including research assistants, PhD students and lecturers.
This step strengthens networking and knowledge-sharing within the university and promotes collaboration in research and teaching. The convention provides an important platform for the university’s joint development.
The Convention’s tasks
The committee’s role is to represent the interests of academic and artistic staff members, as well as PhD students and Lehrkräfte für besondere Aufgaben (specialised instructors), and to coordinate their activities.
The convention acts as an organised platform that promotes exchange and networking and serves as a link between Teaching and research.
