Entrepreneurial Competence Profile
The entrepreneurial competence profile is characterised above all by a willingness to take risks, creativity and cost-effectiveness. The competencies include
- the ability to identify opportunities to reorganise existing structures on the basis of conceptual business models, thereby creating the conditions for innovation
- the integration of social and business developments
- goal-oriented thinking and action
- a focus on both economic and social principles
- Curiosity, openness and a willingness to take risks
- Willingness to take responsibility, independence and a goal-oriented approach
- interdisciplinary, collaborative system design and teamwork
- Reflections on leadership and the entrepreneurial personality

Through its Entrepreneurship Centre (SCE), Hochschule München offers a wide range of programmes designed to impart knowledge and skills in the areas of innovation, personal development and setting up one’s own business, and to support Hochschule München students, lecturers and staff in their entrepreneurial activities.

Lecturers are encouraged to incorporate this skills profile into their teaching.
In addition to their degree programme, students can obtain a university certificate in Entrepreneurial Thinking and Action, as well as take part in the wide range of introductory sessions, courses and programmes offered by the SCE.
