Find out about all the opportunities available relating to internationalisation during your doctorate: exchange programmes, collaborations, research stays, conference attendance, international doctoral candidates and support for international doctoral candidates at the HM.

International exchange and collaboration ensure high standards of research quality and open the way for young researchers to enter the international labour market. We encourage our doctoral candidates to gain experience abroad as part of their research projects.

We extend a warm welcome to all international early career researchers who are coming to HM to undertake their doctorate, to undertake postdoctoral research, or for a temporary stay.

In addition, we promote the development of international skills and the creation of an international environment at HM (Internationalisation@home ).

The Graduate School offers all doctoral candidates personalised advice on the funding and support options available.
