Attract2HM

Attract2HM Through the Attract2HM project, which forms part of the federal-state ‘FH-Personal’ programme, Hochschule München will be focusing on the recruitment and development of female and male professors between 2021 and 2027. As part of this, new tools for the recruitment and training of academic staff will be developed, established and evaluated.

Distinguished professorship TRIFAM

HM was the first university of applied sciences in Bavaria to be successfully selected for the Ministry of State for Science and the Arts’ (StMWK) ‘Distinguished Professors’ programme. As part of the newly established Chair in Transformation and Innovation in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Family Businesses (TRIFAM), a dedicated team of staff has been formed to support the Chair and help further develop this field in research, teaching and knowledge transfers.

Distinguished Professorship in Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Anne-Marie Schreyer, an internationally renowned expert in aerospace engineering, is conducting research and teaching as a Bavarian Distinguished Professor at Hochschule München, thereby strengthening research into fluid mechanics and aerodynamics. “With her interdisciplinary expertise, her many years of experience and her global network, she is a tremendous asset to the university,” announced Minister for Science Markus Blume in 2025.

TIZIO Transfer and Innovation Center Oberland

TIZIO, the technology transfer centre of Hochschule München in Bad Tölz, supports businesses in the Oberland region with research and development. Collaborative projects give rise to solutions in the fields of additive manufacturing, automation, robotics and AI, IoT prototyping, and tourism, sustainability and quality of life. With four high-tech laboratories and a strong network, TIZIO promotes the competitiveness of the regional economy.

Female Professors Programme 2030

This is the fourth time that Hochschule München has received funding under the federal-state ‘Female Professors Programme‘. In December 2024, Hochschule München was awarded the newly introduced "Gleichstellungsstarke Hochschule" distinction in recognition of its comprehensive approach to promoting equality and the strategic integration of equality in line with the principles of gender mainstreaming.

HM’s Integrated Climate Protection Strategy

By implementing an integrated climate protection plan, HM is putting an important part of its sustainability strategy into practice. The aim is to define the path to greenhouse gas neutrality, in line with the Bavarian Climate Protection Act, and to implement it step by step.
